what life is for
or even to be by my side today
and the next
and the next.

I just want to know if
what I'm feeling is pain;
or something deeper;
or nothing at all.

Can you tell me how to get
from A to B to C
and still be able to breathe
in the end?

When I've learned, you can step away
turn your back, run.
But for now, just stand still.
